We are all part of the problem of climate change – so how can we all be part of the solution?

Students, adults and communities need to be part of any effort to respond to climate change if it is to be successful. To be a part of climate change solutions, however, people need a firm understanding of the problem. This manual provides a basic introduction to climate change, including simple explanations of scientific concepts and processes.

The ABC Education Book on Climate Change addresses three broad concerns. The first two sections are filled with educational material and informative diagrams that help learners address the questions of what climate change is and what its impacts are. The third section introduces readers to the international and national level efforts to mitigate climate change, as well as some practical ideas for what can be done about climate change at an individual and community level.
