How can we inspire children to lead more peaceful and sustainable lives?

This manual is intended to support educators (whether teachers, parents, relatives or child-care workers) with peace-building and sustainability education, and to promote multicultural dialogue. It can be used to inspire children towards peaceful and sustainable actions in their everyday lives.

Each section is built around a story or a metaphor, and is followed by activities that address their key messages. Activities have clear instructions for educators and include useful tips and discussion points.

The Imagining Tomorrow – Games booklet can be used to supplement these lessons. It was designed as part of the ‘Imagining Tomorrow: Towards a Peaceful Building Education for Children in Fiji’ project.
