How can children spread the message of handwashing?

Clean Hands Save Lives brings together the ideas and artworks of children of Fiji that promote the message of handwashing, in order to prevent the spread of disease. Inspirational for teachers and students, this booklet contains poems about the importance of handwashing, games, drama and dance to encourage participation, and bright artwork that will encourage students to make their own contributions to healthy hygiene practices.

Clean Hands Save Lives illustrates how children themselves can take responsibility and teach others about the spread of germs that create diseases, particularly diarrhoea and respiratory illnesses that are the leading causes of childhood mortality, and how to prevent them.
