Environmental and Human Rights – Facilitator’s Manual

How can we empower communities through a better understanding of law and human rights?

This resource provides straightforward lesson plans to facilitators wanting to run workshops on law and human rights. Lessons introduce learners to the basics of Solomon Island’s law, what human rights are and how they link to the environment. They discuss the particularities of women’s and children’s rights, and discuss how to access legal aid and address human rights issues.

Each lesson plan provides learning outcomes, materials needed, preparation tasks and possible activities and discussion points.
