This resource was designed to help mobilise action around water, sanitation and hygiene issues. It can be used by households or communities seeking to raise awareness or WASH issues and to campaign for better WASH conditions.

This guide is organised under four sections, which outline community decision making, WASH issues and challenges, how to think creatively about these issues, and how to take action. It contains detailed guidelines for a range of participatory activities such as community mapping, WASH surveys and developing action plans.
